Yes, you can make sourdough

And I’ve helped over 3,000 beginners do exactly that.

Hi, I’m Rose. I’ve been baking sourdough for years, and I love sharing the joy, simplicity, and warmth of real bread made at home.

I teach a simplified approach to sourdough so you can bake with confidence — even if you’re brand new. You don’t have to feed your starter every day, and you don’t have to deal with containers of discard. You’re in control, not the starter.

This method is built for real life — busy homes, full schedules, and people who want good bread without stress or waste. If you’ve ever thought sourdough was too complicated, I’m here to show you that it doesn’t have to be.

Learn Sourdough with Confidence

Rose teaches sourdough the way she actually bakes at home — step by step, without assumptions, and with plenty of encouragement. Whether you’re brand new or frustrated by past attempts, you’ll leave understanding why each step matters, not just how to follow a recipe.

Rose’s care for her students doesn’t end when class is over. Learning sourdough often raises questions once you’re back in your own kitchen, and Rose believes no one should feel stuck or discouraged at that point.

That’s why she stays accessible to her students after class — answering questions, offering encouragement, and helping troubleshoot along the way. Over the years, she’s supported thousands of beginners beyond the classroom, so they don’t just leave inspired — they succeed at home.

What to Expect in a Sourdough Class

Our sourdough classes are designed for beginners and built to remove overwhelm. Rose walks through the entire sourdough process in a clear, simplified way — explaining not just what to do, but why each step matters.

You’ll see how to feed and maintain your starter, mix the dough from that first shaggy stage, and gently build structure through stretch and folds. Rose explains fermentation in a way that actually makes sense, then demonstrates forming, scoring, and baking — so you understand how all the pieces fit together.

And at the end of class, you get to taste a fresh loaf baked during the demonstration — a simple reminder that this really works, and that you can do it at home.

In class, you’ll see and learn:

  • Feeding and caring for your starter (without daily stress)

  • Mixing dough and recognizing the shaggy stage

  • Stretch and folds and how they build strength

  • Understanding fermentation, not guessing at it

  • Forming, scoring, and baking

  • Tasting a fresh loaf baked in class
