Hands-On Sourdough Bread Class
This small-group, hands-on sourdough class walks you through the entire bread-making process—from caring for a healthy starter to baking a beautiful, flavorful loaf. The class is designed for beginners, but is also helpful for bakers of all skill levels who want to strengthen their fundamentals.

Rose is right by your side throughout the class, guiding you step by step and answering questions as they arise. With the class limited to just six students, there is ample opportunity for personal instruction, observation, and hands-on practice.
What you will learn
During the class, you will:
Learn how to feed, maintain, and understand a sourdough starter
Mix dough using a Danish dough whisk and learn why this method works
Practice stretch & folds and understand their role in gluten development
Learn how to read bulk fermentation and know when to move forward
Form and shape your dough with confidence
Learn the why and how of scoring for proper oven spring
Bake a finished loaf and understand how to adjust for your home oven
You do not need to bring anything—everything you need will be provided.
