Sourdough Made Simple: Our Eau Claire Classes Are Open — August 2026

Beginner Sourdough Classes Coming to Eau Claire

We’re excited to be returning to the Eau Claire area to teach sourdough once again!

This August, we’ll be offering 8 class sessions over four days, with both afternoon and evening options so you can choose the day and time that works best for your schedule.

Why So Many People Want to Learn — But Don’t Start

Over the years, we’ve noticed something in class after class: many people genuinely want to make sourdough, but feel overwhelmed by the process or unsure where to begin.

For others, the idea of daily starter feedings and constant discard has made sourdough feel like more work than it’s worth.

We understand that.

Many people assume sourdough requires a rigid routine, a lot of waste, and a lifestyle built around caring for starter.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

A Practical Approach to Sourdough

Rose teaches a simple, approachable method that requires no daily feedings and has helped more than 3,500 beginners bake successfully at home.

This method is designed for real life — for busy households, changing schedules, and people who want to enjoy homemade bread without feeling controlled by the process.

Our goal is not simply to teach you how to follow a recipe.

We want to help you understand the process well enough that you leave confident and equipped to bake at home.

What You’ll Learn

In class, Rose walks through the entire sourdough process step by step, including:

  • Starter care and feeding

  • Mixing and fermentation

  • Forming and scoring

  • Baking and troubleshooting

What You’ll Take Home

Each student leaves with:

  • Active starter

  • Flour for feeding
